Every cell marked with a number links to the vendor's own public page, checked on the date shown. Cells without a number are either category descriptions rather than products ("Generic AI tools"), or capabilities we could not find publicly documented either way — we do not treat silence as proof of absence.

See it in action

One thread, four ways to handle it. Same workflow, side by side.

A B2B SaaS founder finds one buying-intent Reddit thread this week. Here is what happens next, step by step, with each tool.

Workflow stepPulseCrowdReplyRedReachGeneric AI tools
1. Find the threadSemantic queries across all of Reddit, up to 80 keywords.Daily digests of scored threads, refreshed as often as every six hours on Growth and Enterprise.[1]Daily digests of AI-filtered matches; the vendor calls its own cadence "not instant".[8]You search Reddit yourself and bring the thread to the model.
2. Score it for intentAI lead scoring prioritises by buyer intent; Starter's promised throughput is 75 qualified opportunities a month.Threads scored 0-100 for relevance; keywords bucketed into branded terms, commercial questions and competitor alternatives.[1]Numeric relevance scores on every match — the product feed shows "Relevance: 94/100".[2]You judge intent yourself, thread by thread.
3. Draft the replyFull contextual reply drafting, not template-based suggestions. An Engagement Engine generates a reply matched to the thread's context.[3]AI generates context-aware replies; you craft the final response from your own account.[2]The model drafts from the thread you paste in.
4. Post itYou post from your own account and every reply is reviewed before it goes live; on Enterprise the Pulse team posts for you.A managed persona account posts on your behalf; the comment and its karma stay with that account.[3][4]Public comments you post by hand; DM outreach runs through a browser extension with randomised 1-60 second delays and daily limits scaled to account age and karma.[5]You post it by hand from your own account.
5. Check whether the AI engines name youChatGPT and Gemini on every AI-Visibility plan, plus Claude on Enterprise; refreshed weekly on Starter, daily on Growth and Enterprise.Tracks brand presence across AI answer engines; the plan decides how many — 2 models on Starter, 4 on Growth, all 7 on Enterprise.[4]An AI-SEO surface aimed at getting your product cited in AI answers.[6]You can ask a model what it recommends, one prompt at a time.
6. What it costs to startStarter $29/mo, Growth $99/mo, with 3 free leads before you commit.Posting is billed in credits, per comment and per thread. No headline price — we could not verify one.[4]$19/mo entry, plus a $12 one-time 3-day pass.[7]Whatever your LLM subscription costs.

Pulse cells are sourced from our own product and pricing documentation rather than an external link; the "Generic AI tools" column describes buyer behavior, not a product, so it carries no citation either.

Want the widest AI-engine coverage and will buy the top plan? CrowdReply. Want DM outreach at scale with real safety rails? RedReach. Want one workflow that finds the thread, scores it, drafts the reply, posts it from your account — and then checks whether the AI engines name you? That is us.

How we built this comparison

We compare on capabilities a buyer can check themselves. Every claim about another tool comes from that vendor's own public pages — pricing, features, changelog or help centre — and we record the date we checked. Where a vendor's marketing and an independent test disagree, we say so rather than picking the flattering reading. We do not cite affiliate posts, review sites that sell placements, or blogs published by competing tools. Where we could not find public documentation either way, we leave the cell blank instead of scoring it against them. Prices are list prices in USD and can change without notice; check the vendor's page before deciding. Found something out of date? Tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it.

Where a competitor is genuinely stronger, we say so. CrowdReply's AI-visibility tracking across roughly seven answer engines is a real capability and their headline feature. RedReach's DM safeguards — randomised delays, daily limits scaled to account age and karma, and automatic skipping of deleted or shadowbanned accounts — are careful engineering.

Who each tool is actually for

Not every buyer should pick Pulse.

One honest answer per tool, condensed from the verdict we already publish on that tool's own comparison page. Where something else is the better fit, we say so and link you to it.

CrowdReply
Choose CrowdReply if you want done-for-you engagement placed on accounts CrowdReply controls, AI-visibility tracking across roughly seven answer engines as your headline metric, and Reddit, Quora and Facebook monitoring in one feed.
RedReach
Choose RedReach if your motion is outbound DMs at scale and you are comfortable managing the account risk, or if you want to find Reddit posts already ranking on Google and pair SEO with Reddit outreach.
Generic AI tools
Reach for a general-purpose AI assistant if you only need help wording a comment on a thread you already found yourself — you are not trying to find threads, score them, or track anything.
GummySearch
Shut down
Nobody should start here: it is closed to new users and legacy access ends in December 2026. It was the best Reddit audience-research tool of its era, so if you relied on it the question is what to move to, and migrating sooner beats a coverage gap.
Howitzer
Shut down
Nobody should start here: the tool is gone, and the mass-DM motion it was built for is the exact mechanic Reddit penalizes. If you relied on it, move to something that does not repeat the mistake that ended it.
ReplyGuy
Choose ReplyGuy if you explicitly want maximum automation at the lowest entry price and are willing to accept the account risk that comes with auto-posting, including from managed accounts. It optimizes for hands-off volume.
Subreddit Signals
Choose Subreddit Signals if you want a curated daily workflow with a manageable number of leads on a set schedule, Slack-native delivery so leads land in your team channel, and you plan to spend 30 to 60 focused minutes a day on Reddit.
RedLeads
Choose RedLeads if you are a solo founder who wants a lightweight, affordable tool with intent scoring and its distinctive evergreen ranking-thread search, you are comfortable posting replies manually, and its lifetime pricing appeals to you.
Leado
Choose Leado if you want to try Reddit lead generation for free: a generous free tier, AI reply comments, and a karma builder to get a new account established, and you do not yet need team features or reporting.

Pulse is the fit when you want one workflow that finds the thread, scores it, drafts the reply, posts it from your own account, and then checks whether ChatGPT and Gemini name you. If what you need is on the list above instead, buy that.

Why teams switch to Pulse

One platform instead of three tools.

It gets smarter

Pulse tunes its scoring and drafting from your thumbs up/down, so accuracy climbs week over week instead of staying flat.

It sees AI answers

Pulse measures whether ChatGPT and Gemini name you when buyers ask. CrowdReply tracks a wider set of answer engines; RedReach optimises your site to be cited rather than measuring whether you are.

It replaces a stack

Leads, competitor intel and visibility tracking in one place, so you stop paying for and stitching together three separate tools.

See the difference on your own leads.
